Leo wants peas. At every meal.
Not the fresh peas that I so lovingly cooked and pureed for him. No. He likes jarred peas. Organic, of course. But jarred. The fresh peas? *I* ate them. Leo gagged on them like they were cod liver oil.
He loves his pears, too. But he'd really prefer peas.
Today, for the umpteenth time this week, he turned up his nose at his once-beloved oatmeal and went wild, instead, for peas. Even after I sweetened it up with some banana. Thanks, mom! Pass the peas.
He used to love the delicious home-pureed sweet potatoes...so sweet and creamy. No thanks, I'll have peas. And the gardeny freshy orangy springy carrots? P. E. A. S. In a J. A. R.
What am I going to do with this pea lover? Besides the obvious (feed him peas)?
